Kanye West features in “We Were Once A Fairytale” (short film directed by Spike Jonze)

In this short film Kanye West acts out what is supposed to be a personification of his drunk alter-ego. After embarrassing himself in a nightclub he then proceeds to have sex with a stranger, throw up and impale himself to acknowledge and rid himself of his inner demons – a disgusting rat looking creature. It also stars Fonzworth Bentley.

Jesus Saves – Brixton in the 1970s
October 12, 2009Ok so we’re 12 days into Black History month and short of scouring the internet for information you’ll be hard pressed to hear of any events or see any televised footage and/or programming regarding it.
I came across a short film called Jesus Saves via someones Twitter page which is of archived footage shot around Brixton in 1970s by Sam the Wheels and edited by Mutiny Arts. It’s basically a depiction of how the church became the corner stone of the black community uniting them in times of segregation in an alien country.
